Our Classroom Expectations...
The first item I expect is all students and visitors to have respect in my classroom. I expect there to be respect between the teachers, students, parents, and respect yourself.
The second expectation is responsibility. Students have weekly jobs in my classroom and are expected to be responsible and accomplish the task at hand. This also covers taking responsibility for learning, turning work on time, and acting appropriate.
The third expectation of students is there is to be no bullying present. We have discussed bullying and cyberbullying in Health class and even signed a contract. I expect each and every student to follow that contract in and out of our classroom.
The final expectation is to follow both classroom and school rules. The classroom rules include listening carfully, following directions, working quietly, raising your hand and respecting people and property. Our school rules include talkiing at an appropriate volume, no running, no fighting/provoking it, no gum chewing, and following our student dress code.
